I've always been a fan of
celebrating everyday life...

a little more about me

I’ve always been a fan of celebrating everyday life – AND my love for themed gifts and paper details started early. Growing up my sister and I would put on these elaborate themed “surprise date nights” for our parents. We would transform the house into a bed and breakfast, with numbers on the door, in the morning we made breakfast and brought it to them in bed. We also did a “dinner and movie night” with a table for two restaurant, and a movie theater and concession stand complete with popcorn and Red Vines. These childhood moments are some of my favorites.

I’m going to make everything around me beautiful
- that will be my life.

When I decided to start my business I asked my sister, who is a writer, to help me come up with a name. She suggested “Ampersand Ink”. The “Ampersand” “&” illustrates the relationships of life, love and family – while “Ink” depicts the custom design element.
